Of the Earth: Stories of Women in North Dakota

This is not one person’s experience, rather it is a collection of stories, memories, hopes, dreams, disappointments – all shared through a collection of stitches, fabrics, paints, dyes, and love. Women from North Dakota were asked a series of questions about their experiences of growing up in North Dakota. These pieces are a collective reflection of the stories shared with me.

This collection is the result of the Individual Artist Fellowship from North Dakota Council on the Arts that Camilla was awarded for 2020-2021.
