Casting and Latex Prosthetics

Facial casting is necessary when creating a custom latex piece or mask for an actor.  I used an 880-B alginate to cast Mathidle's face when creating a custom latex nose and ears to fit her.  This particular alginate has an 8-minute set time, which is the perfect amount of time to make sure all of the details are included and to apply multiple layers if necessary.
